The European Road Transport Show is the international platform for the European truck industry and road freight transport sector. In 2009, the European Road Transport Show is the only trade fair to be awarded the European A status by the international umbrella sector organisation, the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs Automobiles (OICA). The Amsterdam RAI is the setting for Europe’s largest transport show, the purpose of which is to present the products and goods of the members of the RAI Association to the Dutch and international professional public.

The provisional dates for The European Road Transport Show 2009 are Thursday October 29 up to and including Thursday November 5, 2009. The international Press Day will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
