PRESS RELEASE NEXT EUROPEAN ROAD TRANSPORT SHOW TO BE HELD IN AMSTERDAM IN 2012

Amsterdam, 12 February 2010 – The European Road Transport Show (TERTS), organised by Amsterdam RAI under the auspices of the RAI Association, will take place from the 16th until the 21st of April 2012. It will then have a fixed spot in the agenda every two years around the same time of the year.

The decision was taken after extensive discussions with a wide range of companies in the sectors traditionally related to this event, including light and heavy duty commercial vehicles, special vehicles and parts & component suppliers. The fact that the TERTS will now alternate with the AutoRAI and AutovakRAI exhibitions was seen as a key benefit by many parties.

Originally scheduled for last October, TERTS 2009 was cancelled due to the worsening market conditions caused by the financial crisis. This had led to a large number of exhibitors pulling out of their planned participation in the event.

Amsterdam RAI and the RAI Association are looking forward to a constructive partnership with the market in order to ensure that TERTS 2012 becomes a great success.
